That's right....Jem and The Holograms are making a comeback!

Peter Barsocchini, the writer of High School Musical is linked to creating a film or TV series to revive this almost-forgotten franchise. Hasbro has seen success with the revival of Transformers and GI Joe, and are apparently banking on Jem to be the next big thing.

Will Jerrica/Jem's dual life be revealed? Will boyfriend Rio finally realize that his girlfriend is really Jem, the rock star extraordinaire who he manages, and finally cave to her advances? Will The Misfits once again fail to dampen the spirits of The Holograms? Will lil sister Kimber "ever grow up" behind the shadow of Jerrica? Is Ashley, one of Starlight's foster girls, still a "crazy orphan", befriending the evil Misfits? Has Synergy made that leap and gone HD complete with LCD monitor and wifi?

Oh, God. It's almost midnight and everyone is asleep in the house. I just got out of my son's room after lying in his bed, reading us a couple of books.

I actually took a few more pictures to see if I can "cheat", sorta, in getting a better NOW pic, but apparently I photograph worse when actually preparing for a shot, so here's the first shot I took:



My hair is atrocious, and my zit isn't concealed (hence the side shot!). At least I smiled for you all!

Ah, the Sound of Music!

I had to share this with everyone. If you haven't seen it yet, it's the coolest thing! Why can't I randomly be in a place where things like this happen? I would totally be jumping up and down, estatic! The Sound of Music is one of my nostalgic childhood movies and, I kid you not, I had a perma-grin on the whole time watching this!

I posted my 25 Random Things earlier, but here are some new ones...

My ten things...

1. I'm a pack rat...but hate to admit it.

2. I shop online more than I do "offline".

3. None of the clothes hanging in my closet currently fit me...pregnancy weight is still hanging on.

4. I sleep in on Saturdays so that my husband HAS to make me breakfast.

5. I like listening to children's CDs rather than the radio now...well, that and I have no choice.

6. I can't eat omelettes....something about eggs and cheese together. Add ham and I dry heave. Separately, they're awesome.

7. I sometimes leave my computer on all night so I can jump on it at a moment's notice.

8. Current state of my livingroom: disaster zone.

9. I enjoy doing laundry, just not the folding and putting-away part.

10. I still haven't shredded my bills from a dozen years ago.
